It is hard to overestimate their role in the creative development, professional development and the formation of the general culture of the younger generation. National Competition "I give my heart to children" is held for these teachers for many years.
February, 12 - 13 49 representatives from general and further education of Chelyabinsk competed for the best teacher of additional education in the competition "I give my heart to children - 2013" . The competition took place at the Palace of Pioneers and Children's Creativity Center "Harmony". The contestants were divided into groups of seven categories: "Fine and applied arts", "Art (vocals, choreography, theater)," " Scientific and technical and sports-technical", "ecology and biology, tourism and local history", "fitness and sports ", "Socio-educational and cultural studies" and "military-patriotic."
Participants were scored by the professors of higher educational institutions in Chelyabinsk, teachers, teacher trainers, the heads of city methodical associations in different directions.
On the first day of the contest participants revealed themselves in the competitive test "Self-presentation" My credo in teaching."
On the second day participants demonstrated their teaching skills showing their classes. Children from different schools of Chelyabinsk were invited for this contest. The children have seen the teachers for the first time. And it wasn’t any problem for the participants. Everyone liked this part.
The most difficult was the last contest “Impromptu contest”. The task was in secret. The question “Go there, I don’t know where, bring that, I don’t know what” was a great surprise for everyone. But in 20 minutes participants were ready to answer!
After the end of the competition participants didn’t hurry to leave. They took photos, exchanged their phone numbers. They have a lot in common, and two days of the competition made them closer. One of the participants said: “This competition was very important for me. The most important was to take part, but not to win. I wanted to test myself, to show myself and to look at others.”
The competition came to its end. But the jury had to decide the winners in seven nominations. The names of the best teachers will be announced on the 5th of March at the closing ceremony.
