Porridge, weapons and route paper

Minus temperature and small prickly snow didn’t become an obstacle for the opening of the 2nd Part of Games at the Palace of Pioneers last Sunday, April 14. The new competitions had been decided to be held in the format of military sports games.

As in the first part 5 teams took part in the Sport competition. Each team was given a color as an emblem in February.
- Purple - a team from the group of technical creativity and the administrative part
- Red color - the team of the Centre for Civil Education and social initiatives, the Centre of leisure activities and events and the Press center.
- Orange - a team of students from the Center of Music and Ballet and Performing Arts, and from the Arts and crafts Center.
- Blue - the team members from the non-state educational establishment, from the Center working with gifted and talented children, from the Center of Information and methodological support.
- Green - athletes from the Center of Physical Culture and Sports and Youth Basketball.
Before the game, the captains of each team received a route paper with 8 marked sites for contests. The Green team showed the best level of drill and the first place in shooting from paintball guns at a target was given to the team of "blue". The best in the contest “Obstacle course” was Purple team. The most active area was "Militarized relay race" (soldier's equipment was used in this contest) required a lot of effort. Red team showed the best in this contest. At the site "Military Secret" no one was tortured. It was theatrical contest. One participant from the team needed to show the proverb or saying without words through gestures or movements so that others guessed, what or whom they were showing.
In the end the team of "green" became the best one. So, the1st place - "green", 2nd place - "red",
3rd place - "purple",4th place - "blue", 5th place - "orange".
After the end of the competition all participants were invited to have lunch. At the field kitchen everyone could try tasty buckwheat porridge with stewed meat and strong tea.
After lunch there was a Master class in the assembly and disassembly of the Makarov pistol and the Kalashnikov gun. Then everybody took photos in a flak jacket with arms in their hands.
