In their anniversary year the teachers of the Studio together with their students opened an exhibition "Springs of creativity" at the State Regional center of folk art. “At this exhibition you can see the best works that have been made over the past 10 years. Some children came to our Studio when they were 4 years old and even after graduating school they continue to come to the studio to ask for a piece of advice or just to visit us. Overall, the works of the exhibition were made by current pupils and graduates,"- said Yelena Ray.
There are more than 100 works: folk costumes, hats, embroidered kitchen towels, tablecloths and curtains, paintings, embroidered with colored and gold threads and a lot of dolls - familiar fairy tale characters from childhood.
The Studio anniversary concurred with the anniversary of one of the studio teachers. Yelena Vladimirovna Ray was fifty-five in January, but she doesn’t hurry to retire. There are a lot of plans and ideas ahead. So, she has a lot of work in the Studio, and there is room for development.
