A lot of participants were born in XXI century and this task wasn’t a problem for them.
To show the real traditions of decorating the New Year tree, the participants had to watch films of the Soviet period, and look through old magazines. As a result, there were about two hundred Christmas decorations in the finals. There were three categories: "toys-babies" (size from 10 to 20 cm), "toys for big firs" (size from 20 to 50 cm) and "New Year lights."
Carton Rubik's Cube, dolls, papier-mache snowmen, foam icicles and candies, candles and snowflakes. You can see all decorations until 19th of December at the Palace, daily from 8 am till 8 pm.
Winners in each category will be awarded with diplomas and prizes. After awarding all decorations and toys will decorate New Year trees in different areas of the city.
