Образцовый детский коллектив «Школа современного танца «МиксДанс» 26 мая вместе со зрителями отправился в «Волшебное путешествие» и через два часа вернулся обратно. В театральном зале Дворца пионеров и школьников состоялся отчётный концерт коллектива.
«Волшебное путешествие» с «МиксДансом» включало в себя как совершенно новые танцевальные номера, так и уже полюбившиеся.

Всему виной отчётный концерт танцевальной команды «TRASH», прошедший 26 мая в театральном зале Дворца пионеров и школьников им. Н. К. Крупской.
12 учебных групп показали 13 танцевальных номеров в стиле hip-hop, house, raga, locking, LA.Сто участников команды «TRASH» от 5 до 18 лет вышли на сцену, чтобы продемонстрировать своё танцевальное умение зрителям, главными из которых, безусловно, стали родители. «В этот раз концерт получился лучше, чем в прошломгоду. В целом, сами дети подошли к делу серьёзнее», - отметила Людмила Болтова, педагог коллектива.

XVII Urban Open Olympiad of technical creativity ended on 27th of April in athletics arena of SUSU with the competitions in automobile and aircraft modeling. Teams presented Chelyabinsk, Troitsk, Snezhinsk and Trehgornyi.

On the 26th of April the winners of the IX Ural Interregional Conference "Intellectuals of the XXI century" gathered at the Palace of Pioneers.
More than 800 high school students from Chelyabinsk and Sverdlovsk regions, the republics of Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan participated in 52 scientific sections.

From the 11th to 31st of March there was a competition "The Best Web-site of educational institutions in the city of Chelyabinsk in 2013."
114 institutions (55 educational institutions, 53 pre-school educational institutions, and 6 additional educational institutions for children) filled an application to take part in this competition.In the category "The Best Web-site of the additional educational institution for children" the first place won the Palace of Pioneers. This is the second victory of the palace web-site in this academic year. In November 2012 in the regional competition "The best on-line-service", organized by the Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Chelyabinsk region, the Palace also won the first place. 

Open Rhythmic Gymnastics Championship of the Palace of Pioneers was finished on April 13. For two days the sportswomen from Magnitogorsk athletes sports school of Olympic reserve, Children's Creative Center Metallurgical district and a sports association "Rhythmic Gymnastics" of The Palace of Pioneers showed all their skills and techniques.

Sunday morningonthe seventh of April was truly spring. There were white clouds in the blue sky, bright warm sun and bird’s chatter from all sides. At such moments there is a desire to do something good, kind and beautiful. Pupils and teachers of the Palace of Pioneers did not lose time and stated: "What a wonderful world, look!"

Minus temperature and small prickly snow didn’t become an obstacle for the opening of the 2nd Part of Games at the Palace of Pioneers last Sunday, April 14. The new competitions had been decided to be held in the format of military sports games.

You could see a great bunch of robots at the Palace of Pioneers on 3d-4th of April. They were brought from all over the Chelyabinsk Region for VII Regional round of the International Robot competitions among school children.

23 мая на театральной сцене Дворца пионеров и школьников вручали премию «Бумеранг – 2013». Необычная награда еще очень молодая: ей всего два года. Но, несмотря на юный возраст, она уже стала очень престижной в стенах Дворца. Ведь эта премия учреждена с целью формирования единого сообщества сотрудников, воспитанников, родителей и социальных партнеров Дворца.
